When the folks at Gray Matter Films, one of Baltimore's
premier indie film companies, needed a web site, they knew where to come. The Anchor creative team worked hand-in-hand with the client to design an engaging Flash intro, and
fundamental design collateral.
Budget Bath is the only place to call in Maryland when
you want a gorgeous, custom designer bathroom without taking out a second mortgage to pay for it. When the Budget Bath folks approached us, they had nothing more than some print
ads and some good ideas, and we turned those into a web site that sells.
Fader's Tobacco is one of Baltimore's oldest tobacconists; indeed,
they've been a part of Baltimore History for over a century. So, when it was time to bring their web site into the 21st century, they contacted Anchor Mediaworks. We built them a
custom content management system, automated opt-in email system, and a full back-end for their site, which is now as classy as their historic store.
Darrel Drown has been providing top-tier financial
planning services to Maryland for 20 years, but Drown Financial Services never had a web site. So, in 2008, the Drown team and the Anchor team sat down and hammered out plans
for a site to advise current and future clients of Darrel's services.
EMGMachine.Com is a one-stop portal site for
information pertaining to the world of EMG (Electromyography) Machines, accessories, and Electronic Medical Records. Neuro Solutions, LLC, the company behind EMGMachine.Com came to
the Anchor team for a turnkey solution, and we provided them with the best. This web site is now the top-ranked site in the Google index for this industry.
LINX is an innovative enrichment program, offering a wide
selection of topical programs, encompassing the arts, science, languages and creative expressions, uniquely designed to bring fun to learning for kids up to age 13.
We built an enterprise-level software suite for the Linx site, including full backoffice functionality, real-time tracking of children in attendance, recurring billing software,
and enrollment software.
Creating The Better Hour is a movement inspired by William
Wilberforce (1759-1833) who is a model of how a person of faith and passion can change the world for the better without a lot of money and without a lot of people. The Anchor tech
team was humbled to be part of this project, along with our friends at Enktesis, LLC. We built a news and networking portal to encourage people to get involved in their community, and to make a change for the better.
The Center for the Resolution
of Cancer Health Disparities is a branch of the National Institutes of Health. The Anchor tech team built an enterprise-level intranet for the
folks at CRCHD, allowing them to streamline several of their backoffice functions.
The Aerospace Medical Association is the largest, most-representative
professional organization in the fields of aviation, space, and environmental medicine. In partnership with our friends at User-Centered Design, we offered technical consultation
and programming during the build-up and maintenance of their web site.
Sylvan Learning was founded in 1979 and is North America's leading
provider of private tutoring for children in grades pre-K through 12. The Anchor tech team, with our very talented friends at Link Studio, helped build out Sylvan's Educate.Com,
which included countless dynamic elements and content management.
Launched in 1869, Nature is the world's foremost weekly scientific journal and
is the flagship journal for Nature Publishing Group (NPG). The Anchor tech team contributed heavily to the launch of the enterprise-level, nearly epic Nature.Com. At the time
of its launch, Nature.Com was unparalleled in its offerings to the scientific community.
The www.state.gov website serves as the State Department's portal
of information on U.S. foreign policy and information about the State Department. With our friends at User-Centered Design, we offered consulting services to the State Department
regarding their online presence.
The mission statement for LoanOfficer.Com was simple: to be the
best portal for home-based originators, nationwide. With our friends at Link Studio, we built an enterprise-level web software suite to handle the pipeline managment needs of
LoanOfficer.Com, which included millions of dollars in origination across the country.
The Technology Transfer Center (TTC) of the National Cancer
Institute makes it easy for industry and academia to interact and partner with National Institutes of Health laboratories and scientists. The Anchor tech team built a custom
content management system for the folks at TTC, along with a custom opt-in email system and mailing list management tools.
The University of Baltimore was founded in 1925. It became a state
institution in 1975, and today is part of the University System of Maryland. Anchor was thrilled to assist the University's ever-changing needs by building a number of tools
for student housing and academic needs.
The Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AO)
serves the federal Judiciary in carrying out its constitutional mission to provide equal justice under law. The Anchor team, with our friends at User-Centered Design, was thrilled
to contribute programming and consultation to the US Courts.
